It shall be unlawful for said City Sealer or his assistants to demand, take or receive any fees other than those provided for by the provisions of this code, or any gift, compensation or emolument from any person or corporation whose measures or weights he may examine, seal or stamp, or whose weights or measures the Sealer is required to examine, stamp or seal in the course of performing his duties.
