If approved by the City Manager, the Sexton may also serve as a working foreman within the Parks and Cemeteries Department. In such case, the Sexton will assist the Department Head for Parks and Cemeteries in executing his duties as specified in this code. Specifically, the Sexton as a working foreman will assist the Department Head in ensuring the most efficient use of the labor force to maintain and control all lands and buildings under the cognizance of the Parks and Cemeteries Department.
