(A) A seal or disc in a circular form, with the words “City of Kewanee Illinois • Founded 1854 Incorporated 1897 •” on the outer circle, and in the interior or center of said circle, a depiction of a prairie chicken, known as a “Kewanee,” shall be the seal of the city.
(B) The city seal shall be and remain in the custody of the City Clerk, and be used by the Clerk and the Mayor, as provided by law.
