Inspections services shall be provided by the county Inspections Department (Johnston or Wilson) with appropriate jurisdiction. The Town Council shall request the Board of County Commissioners of Johnston and Wilson counties to direct one or more county building inspectors to exercise their powers within all of the town's jurisdiction, and they shall thereupon be empowered to do so until the Town Council officially withdraws its request per G.S. § 160A-413.
