(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
(B) (1) Failure to display the number assigned to each building shall be punishable by a $5 civil penalty to be paid within 5 calendar days after being notified by town officials of noncompliance.
(2) Anyone who alters, defaces, or takes down any number, except for repair or replacement, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor as provided by G.S. § 14-4.
