§ 90.02  PREFIXES FOR CERTAIN STREETS.
   (A)   Prefixes for the following named streets or parts thereof are hereby designated as follows.
      (1)   North and South prefix designated.  The portion of the streets named below are lying north of N.C. 222 are hereby designated or renamed with the prefix North and the portion of the streets named below and lying south of N.C. 222 are hereby designated or renamed with the prefix South.
         (a)   Englewood Drive;
         (b)   Maple Street;
         (c)   Church Street;
         (d)   Gardner Avenue;
         (e)   Corbett Avenue;
         (f)   Railroad Street;
         (g)   Alford Avenue;
         (h)   College Avenue; and
         (i)   Wilson Street.
      (2)   East and West prefix designated.  The portion of the streets or parts thereof named below and lying east of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad are hereby designated or renamed with the prefix East and the portion of the streets or parts thereof named below and lying west of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad are hereby designated or renamed with the prefix West.
         (a)   Third Street;
         (b)   Second Street;
         (c)   First Street;
         (d)   Edgerton Street;
         (e)   Grady Street; and
         (f)   Goldsboro Street.
   (B)   From and after the effective date of this section, all public streets designated or renamed herein shall have and shall be known by the prefix and the name as provided for in this section.
   (C)   All official maps of the Town of Kenly shall be corrected to show the designated street names as provided for by this section, and a copy of this section shall be filed with the Register of Deeds of Johnston County.
   (D)   This section shall be in full force and effect from and after 3-29-1982.
