§ 55.031 ALTERATION OF VILLAGE STREETS.
   (A)   Streets within the village are designed to function as transportation corridors. Certain streets within the village have secondary functions, including, but not limited to, service and facilities as a component of the village’s stormwater management system.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to commit any action which will break, damage, injure, disturb, hinder, or otherwise alter any street within the village, including but not limited to:
      (1)   Changing any street’s physical structure such as altering pavement or any materials below the pavement; or
      (2)   Disrupting a street’s ability to function without obstruction.
   (C)   Any person who violates this section:
      (1)   Must cause the street to be restored to its previously unbroken, undamaged, uninjured, undisturbed, unhindered, unaltered state, or otherwise to the satisfaction of the Village Manager, in accordance with specifications provided by the Village Manager or his or her designee; and
      (2)   May also be subject to the penalty provisions of § 10.99 of this code.
