§ 153.082 AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT AND APPURTENANCES.
   Air-cooled condensing units used in connection with central air conditioning systems and placed outside of the principal building shall be installed as follows:
   (A)   Air conditioning equipment shall be located in either a side yard (other than a side yard abutting a street in the case of a corner lot) or the rear yard. In the side yard, air conditioning equipment shall not be closer to either side lot line than 50% of the required side yard setback for a principal structure, and screening shall be provided from the street view.
   (B)   Air conditioning equipment may only be installed at grade, and may not be attached to any exterior wall or rooftop of any principal or accessory structure.
   (C)   Existing air conditioning equipment may be replaced in its existing location. Replacement of existing roof-mounted air conditioning equipment shall be screened from adjacent residential properties and the street view.
