§ 150.430 INSPECTION OF IMPROVEMENTS; REJECTION OR CONDEMNATION OF WORK.
   (A)   (1)   All materials and each part or detail of the work referred to in this subchapter shall be subject at all times to inspection by the Village Manager, or his or her authorized representatives, and the builder will be held strictly to the true intent of the specifications in regard to quality of materials, workmanship and the diligent execution of the improvement.
      (2)   The inspection may include mill, plant or shop inspection, and any material furnished under these specifications is subject to the inspection.
      (3)   The Village Manager, or his or her representatives, shall be allowed access to all parts of the work, and shall be furnished with information and assistance by the builder as is required to make a complete and detailed inspection.
   (B)   (1)   All work which has been rejected or condemned shall be remedied or removed and replaced in an acceptable manner by the builder at his or her own expense.
      (2)   Upon failure on the part of the builder to comply promptly with an order of the Village Manager made under the provisions of this chapter, the Village Manager shall, after giving written notice to the builder, have the authority to cause defective work to be remedied.
   (C)   It is the intent that first-class materials shall be used throughout the work, and that they shall be incorporated in a manner as to produce completed construction which is workmanlike and acceptable in every detail.
