§ 130.28 METHOD OF DETERMINING TEMPERATURE; AUTHORITY OF HEALTH OFFICER OR AGENT.
   For the purpose of determining whether or not the temperature in any dwelling is in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter, temperature readings shall be made only by the Building Commissioner, or some person duly authorized by him or her, by means of a standard Fahrenheit thermometer approved by the Building Commissioner in the following manner. If the building is a multiple dwelling, the temperature reading shall be taken in not less than two separate rooms of the dwelling which the tenant is entitled to occupy, or if the dwelling consists of only one room, then in two opposite parts of that room as near the extremes as practicable, the thermometer to be placed at a point not less than four feet nor more than six feet above the floor of the room and at least four feet away from any door or window leading to the outer air.
