§ 30.09 VACANCY.
   If a vacancy in an elected office occurs during the term for which an officer was elected, such vacancy shall be filled in accordance with the applicable provisions set forth in the Illinois Municipal Code, 65 ILCS 5/1-1-1 et seq., as amended.
