§ 91.055 EXCEPTIONS.
   (A)   The provisions of this subchapter shall not apply to rabbits harbored or kept on any premises within the village for noncommercial purposes, provided that all rabbits not kept as household pets shall be kept in a cage or similar enclosure as would be required for a small domesticated animal, and further provided that no more than ten rabbits of the age six months or over at any one time shall be harbored or kept on any premises within the village.
   (B)   The provisions of this subchapter shall not apply to animals harbored or kept within the village on a temporary basis in connection with a circus, animal exhibition, petting zoo or similar event conducted in accordance with all other applicable village ordinances.
