(A) (1) A maximum speed of 25 mph is fixed for the following streets, or portions thereof, in the village (unless otherwise posted):

(2) Other streets or portions thereof as shall be specified by the Chief of Police, with the approval of the Board of Trustees, and designated by official signs shall have a maximum speed of 25 mph.
(B) (1) A maximum speed of 20 mph (on school days between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. when children are present) is hereby fixed for all streets, or portions thereof, in the village that are designated by official signs as school zones.
(2) On any day when children are present and within 50 feet of motorized traffic, any driver traveling on a park zone street, as defined by the State Vehicle Code, may not drive a motor vehicle at a speed in excess of 20 mph or any lower posted speed or fail to come to a complete stop at a stop sign or red light.
(a) This section does not apply unless official signs are posted giving proper due warning that a park zone is being approached.
(b) It shall be unlawful to operate a motor vehicle in violation of this section (B)(2) upon the following streets, or portions thereof, within the village:
