§ 72.02 MANNER OF PARKING VEHICLES.
   (A)   Every vehicle stopped or parked upon a roadway shall be so stopped or parked parallel with and within 12 inches of the adjacent curb, or, if there is no curb, then within 12 inches of the edge of the paved portion of the roadway or portion of the roadway provided for vehicular driving, except for angle parking. Upon those streets and in those areas which have been marked or designated by appropriate markings or signs for angle parking, vehicles shall be parked at the angle to the curb indicated by markings or signs, with the nearest corner of the front of the vehicle within 12 inches of the curb or the edge of the paved portion of the roadway or area or portion of the roadway or area provided for vehicular driving or use.
   (B)   No person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle upon a street, other than an alley, in a manner or under conditions as to leave available less than sufficient room for normal and free movement of vehicular traffic, except that a driver may stop temporarily for a period in no event exceeding two minutes during the actual loading or unloading of passengers, merchandise or materials or when necessary in obedience to traffic regulations or traffic signs or signals or a police officer.
   (C)   No person shall park a vehicle within an alley in a manner or under conditions as to leave available less than sufficient room for normal and free movement of vehicular traffic.
   (D)   No person driving or in charge of a motor vehicle shall permit it to stand unattended upon any street or alley without first stopping the engine, locking the ignition, and removing the key from the ignition.
