§ 52.056 DOWNSPOUT CONNECTION.
   Every downspout connection to a sewer shall be trapped with a water sealing trap, placed as near as possible to the foot thereof; except that two or more adjacent leaders may be connected together on one trap. A cast iron hub connection shall be provided above grade at least six inches for the reception of sheet metal leader which shall be thoroughly cemented in every case. No downspout trap shall be of less internal diameter than four inches, and shall be placed at least four feet below the surrounding grade and the iron terminal piece shall be at least two feet six inches long. No downspout or leader pipe shall discharge into any soil or waste stack nor shall any downspout receive waste water from any plumbing fixture.
