No steam, exhaust, blow-off drip, drain or return pipe from any steam trap or heating apparatus shall connect direct with the sewer or with any house drain, soil, or waste pipe or rain water pipe. The water steam or condensation from those pipes before it shall enter any sewer or drain shall be discharged into a suitable intercepting basin.
