All new buildings hereafter constructed shall be provided with a separate storm sewer system for roof and surface drainage. All separate storm sewer systems shall be connected into the storm sewers where the storm sewers are available in the parkway. Where no storm sewer is available in the parkway, the storm sewer from the building may be connected to the sanitary sewer building drain in the public parkway until a time as the President and Board of Trustees orders a complete separation of storm and sanitary sewage. The sanitary and storm sewer drains may be laid side by side in one trench.
