9-3-2: DEFINITIONS:
AIRCRAFT: Any machine heavier than air supported for flight by dynamic action of air upon its surfaces, and which is used for transportation of persons or property in the air.
EMERGENCY: An unforeseen occurrence or condition or act of God, creating or causing, mechanical failure or damage to the aircraft or creating a life threatening situation to persons aboard the aircraft.
This chapter shall not be construed to prohibit an aircraft from landing within the city to preserve life of a person or persons or to protect property. (Ord. 325, 11-12-1981)
