If the work described in any building permit has not begun within ninety (90) days from the date of issuance thereof, such permit shall expire. The work described in the building permit must be substantially completed within one year of the date of issuance of the permit. If the work described in the permit is not substantially completed within one year of the date of its issuance, no further work shall be done until a new permit is issued. (Ord. 346, 6-11-1986)
