(A) The primary source of information that will be used by the Commission in determining the flood hazard potential of an area is the Flood Boundary Maps. These maps were prepared by the Federal Flood Insurance Administration.
(B) A proposed subdivision will be located on the maps and its flooding potential determined. Restrictions on the types of uses within a portion or the entire proposed subdivision will be noted and must be followed. The Commission will meet with the subdivider to evaluate the degree and extent of the flood- prone areas within the proposed subdivision.
