§ 35.09 FIREFIGHTERS.
   (A)   No person shall be appointed a firefighter unless he has attained the age of 18 and is able- bodied.
   (B)   No person shall receive an appointment as a firefighter, unless he has, not more than 60 days prior to receiving such appointment, passed a physical examination given by a licensed physician showing that he is physically qualified to perform the duties of a fireman.
   (C)   No person who is appointed as a firefighter shall remain in such a position unless within one year of his appointment he has received a certificate in accordance with R.C. § 3303.07 showing his satisfactory completion of a Firefighter Training Program, R.C. § 737.22.
