The approval or conditional approval of the preliminary plan shall be effective for a maximum period of 24 months from the date of approval or conditional approval and shall guarantee that the terms under which the approval was granted will not be affected by changes to this chapter. The subdivider may submit a request in writing for extension of this approval to the Village Planning Commission.
