(A) (1) From May 15 until September 15 it shall be unlawful for any minor under the age of 16 to loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public streets, parks, playgrounds, or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement and entertainment between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the following day.
(2) From May 15 until September 15 it shall be unlawful for any minor under the age of 18 to loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public streets, parks, playgrounds, or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement and entertainment between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the following day.
(B) (1) It shall be unlawful for the parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of a minor under the age of 16 to knowingly or otherwise permit said minor child to loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public streets, parks, playgrounds, or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement and entertainment, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the following day.
(2) It shall be unlawful for the parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of a minor under the age of 18 years to knowingly or otherwise permit said minor child to loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public streets, parks, playgrounds, or other public grounds, public places and public buildings, places of amusement and entertainment, between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the following day.
(C) The provisions of divisions (A) and (B) above do not apply when the minor is accompanied by his or her parent, guardian, or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor or where the minor is upon an emergency errand or legitimate business directed by his or her parent, guardian, or other adult person having the care and custody of said minor child.
(D) Any minor violating the provisions of division (A) above shall be dealt with in accordance with the Ohio Juvenile Law and the procedures of the Erie County Juvenile Court. Each violation shall constitute a separate offense.
(E) Any parent, guardian, or other adult person having the care and custody of a minor violating division (B) above shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Each violation shall constitute a separate offense.
