§ 34.14 SPECIAL POLICE OFFICERS.
   (A)   Special police officers performing public duties for the village shall be compensated at an hourly rate set by Council, payable monthly.
   (B)   Special police officers shall not be scheduled overtime as defined by National Wage and Hour Laws. Overtime hours may be worked only on the condition that the officer is waiving any and all rights he may have to overtime compensation, but would be paid at the regular hourly rate set by Council.
   (C)   Special police officers of the village who are assigned “on call duty” shall be compensated at the rate of two hours of pay for each 24 hours of “on call duty”. If actually called out to respond to a police matter during said 24-hour period, a minimum of two hours' compensation shall be paid per call out, not to exceed eight hours of compensation in one 24-hour period.
