§ 112.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For purposes of this chapter the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings ascribed to them respectively.
   GOODS. Any kind of merchandise, beverage, produce, food or commodity.
   ITINERANT VENDOR. Includes any person, who engages in or conducts a temporary or transient business of selling goods, wares, and merchandise within the village with the intention of continuing in such business for a period of less than 90 days.
   PEDDLER. One who sells tangible commodities from house to house, store to store, or on the streets or in any public place; his sales are not made from one established spot excepting where they are made in a street or other public place and he makes delivery at the time of the sale. Whether or not he collects at the same time is immaterial.
   SOLICITOR. Any person who travels by any means from place to place, taking or attempting to take orders for sale of goods to be delivered in the future or for services to be performed in the future.
   TEMPORARY STORE. The whole or any part of a store, storeroom, office, building, structure, improved or unimproved lane, used for the sale of goods where the seller of goods operates such place for a period of less than 90 days; and also includes a vehicle used for that purpose for any period of time.
   TRANSIENT MERCHANT. Any person, whether a resident of the village or not, traveling either by foot, wagon, automobile, motor truck or any other conveyance from place to place, from house to house, or from street to street, selling or attempting to sell goods, or taking or attempting to take orders for sale of goods, or who sells goods, or who offers goods for sale from a temporary store.
