(A) The Village Park District Recreation Board shall consist of five persons, two of whom shall be members of the Board of Education of the village school district or members appointed by such Board. The remaining three members of the Board shall be appointed by the Mayor with the consent of Village Council.
(B) All members of the Board shall be residents of the village and shall serve for terms of five years except that the members first appointed shall be appointed for the following terms:
(1) Board member one, appointed by the Board of Education, shall serve an initial one year term;
(2) Board member two, appointed by the Board of Education, shall serve an initial two year term;
(3) Board member three, appointed by the Mayor, shall serve an initial three year term;
(4) Board member four, appointed by the Mayor, shall serve an initial four year term; and
(5) Board member five, appointed by the Mayor, shall serve an initial five year term.
(C) All members of the Board shall serve without pay.
