§ 96.01 INTENT; CONFLICTS.
This chapter establishes minimum standards for overnight camping and use of tents, camper-vans, camper-trailers, or the like. The operation of this chapter shall exclude properly zoned, designated, and licensed camping areas and facilities. Where a provision of this chapter is found to be in conflict with a provision in any building or zoning ordinance or in any other village ordinance or state statute, or in any regulation issued under the authority of such ordinance or statute, the provision which establishes the higher standard for the protection of health, safety, and welfare of the public generally shall prevail.
