(A) Generally. For the purposes of this chapter, the terms, phrases, words and their derivatives shall have the meanings given in this section. The singular shall include the plural, and the masculine shall include the feminine and the neuter.
ADMINISTRATOR. The Clerk/Treasurer or his/her authorized representative.
HOTEL or MOTEL. Every establishment kept, used, maintained, advertised, held out to the public to be a place where sleeping accommodations are offered for consideration to guests, in which any number of rooms are used for the accommodation of such guests, whether such rooms are in one or several structures.
TRANSIENT GUEST. A person occupying a room or rooms for sleeping accommodations for less than 30 consecutive days.
VENDOR. The person who is the owner or operator of the hotel or motel and who furnishes the lodging.
