§ 101.04 NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS.
   (A)   When the Village Administrator is required to give notice to the owner or occupant of any private property to carry out any of the provisions hereinbefore set forth, such notice shall be in writing, shall state the particular thing which the Village Administrator requires the owner to do and the time in which the work shall be performed, 15, 30, or 45 days depending on the urgency. The notice shall also contain a statement notifying the owner that if the work ordered by the Village Administrator is not done according to the terms of and within the time specified in the notice, the work will be done by the village and the entire cost thereof shall be in a lien upon the private property whereon such tree stands, and a further statement that when such cost has been ascertained the owner shall be billed therefor by the village and the amount of the bill shall be payable in cash or check at the Village Clerk-Treasurer's Office within 30 days from the date the bill is presented and that upon failure to pay such bill, the amount thereof, together with statutory interest, shall be certified by the Clerk of Council to the County Auditor to be collected with the other taxes for the ensuing tax year.
   (B)   Such notice shall be served by the Clerk of Council or a duly authorized representative.
