§ 50.55 SHUT-OFF OF WATER SERVICE AT REQUEST OF CUSTOMER.
   (A)   Any customer desiring to have water service shut off and the meter removed for the winter months shall notify the Clerk of the Board of Public Affairs in writing before freezing weather arrives. Neither the Board of Public Affairs nor the Clerk of the Board of Public Affairs will be held responsible for broken lines, meters, or other damage due to freeze-ups if the customer fails to request removal.
   (B)   The service charge established for this service is $12 to remove and store a meter and $12 to reinstall a meter.
   (C)   Water service shut-off upon request because of emergency circumstances shall not be subject to payment of removal or reinstall charges.
