§ 50.51 TAPPING FEES.
   (A)   Each person desiring to become a customer of the water system by connecting thereto shall pay according to the following schedule for the installation, including all labor and materials, except as identified below:
      (1)   $9,000 for a 3/4-inch meter.
      (2)   $11,000 for a 1-inch meter plus $500 per bedroom/dwelling unit; said units to be determined by review of the sanitary system permit.
      (3)   $15,000 for a 1-1/2-inch meter plus $500 per bedroom/dwelling unit; said units to be determined by review of the sanitary system permit.
      (4)   $20,000 for a 2-inch meter plus $500 per bedroom/dwelling unit; said units to be determined by review of the sanitary system permit.
      (5)   Any connections larger than two inches must be approved by the Village Council, at a price to be determined.
      (6)   All digging shall be done by a licensed, bonded and insured person per rules promulgated by the Village Administrator.
      (7)   Dock connections shall be $125 per dock.
      (8)   Any material associated with the construction and placement of the tap shall be billed separately and is in addition to the cost of the tap.
   (B)   Any installation involving the excavation of rock will bear an additional labor charge based on the extent of site work involved.
   (C)   In the event excavation of roads, streets or sidewalks is necessary to connect the customer to the water system, the customer shall pay, in addition to all fees, costs and expenses set forth above, all costs and expenses involved with opening and replacing the road, street or sidewalk to its previous condition.
