§ 71.19 LICENSE SUSPENDED OR REVOKED BY COURT OF RECORD.
   (A)   Whenever a person is found guilty under the laws of this state or any ordinance of any political subdivision of this state, of operating a motor vehicle in violation of any such law or ordinance relating to reckless operation, the trial court of any court of record, in addition to or independent of all other penalties provided by law, may impose a class five suspension of the offenders drivers or commercial drivers license or permit or nonresident operating privilege from the range specified in R.C. § 4510.02(A)(5).
   (B)   Suspension of a commercial drivers license under this section shall be concurrent with any period of suspension disqualification under R.C. § 3123.58 or 4506.16. No person who is disqualified for life from holding a commercial drivers license under R.C. § 4506.16 shall be issued a drivers license under R.C. Chapter 4507 during the period for which the commercial drivers license was suspended under this section, and no person whose commercial drivers license is suspended under this section shall be issued a drivers license under R.C. Chapter 4507 during the period of the suspension.
