For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ALL-PURPOSE VEHICLE.
Any self-propelled vehicle designed primarily for cross-country travel on land or water or both, or on more than one type of terrain, and steered by wheels or caterpillar treads, or any combination thereof, including vehicles that operate on a cushion of air, vehicles commonly known as all-terrain vehicles, all-season vehicles, mini bikes and trail bikes, but excluding any self-propelled vehicle principally used for purposes of personal transportation, any golf cart registered and authorized to be upon the public highways, any motor vehicle or air craft required to be registered under R.C. Chapter 4503 or Chapter 4561, and any vehicle excepted from the definition as a motor vehicle by § 70.01 of the this chapter.
ELECTRONIC

ELECTRONIC RECORD.
Have the same meanings as in R.C. § 4501.01.
ELECTRONIC DEALER.
A dealer whom the Registrar of Motor Vehicles designates under R.C. § 4519.511.
OPERATOR.
Any person who operates or is in actual physical control of a snowmobile, off-highway motorcycle, or all-purpose vehicle.
OWNER.
Any person or firm, other than a lien holder or dealer, having title to a snowmobile, off-highway motorcycle, or all purpose vehicle, or other right to the possession thereof.
SIDEWALK.
That portion of a street between the curb lines, or the lateral lines of a roadway, and the adjacent property lines, intended for the use of pedestrians.
STREET
or
HIGHWAY.
The entire width between the boundary lines of every way open to the use of the public as a thoroughfare for purposes of vehicular travel.
