(A) The Medical Services Department of the village is established. Council shall appoint a Medical Director who is a licensed physician in this state. The Medical Director shall be the physician for the Medical Services Clinic and shall be the medical advisor to the EMU unit. The Department shall be under the general supervision of the Administration/Public Safety Committee of Council.

(B) The position of Medical Services Clinic Clerical Assistant is established to provide clerical support to the staff of the Medical Services Clinic, including the following:
(1) Reception of patients;
(2) Preparing billing statements;
(3) Receiving and accounting for the fees for services rendered by the staff;
(4) Transcription of doctor and nursing notes;
(5) Patient chart maintenance;
(6) Other duties as may be required from time to time by the Medical Services Clinic staff.
