(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to construct any storage shed within the village without a construction permit from the building commissioner.
(b) The application for a storage shed construction permit shall be accompanied by a plat of survey showing the proposed location of the storage shed in relation to the lot lines, existing permanent improvements, the type of construction, the material to be used and the proposed dimensions of the storage shed. These must be approved by the building commissioner.
(c) There shall be a building permit charge as set forth in section 13-1 of this code, for a storage shed construction permit.
(d) All such new installation shall also pay an inspection fee as set forth in section 13-1 of this code.
(e) The space used for a storage shed cannot decrease the number of required parking spaces in commercial or multi-family zoning districts.
(f) Shed must be anchored as recommended and approved by the building commissioner.
