(a) Scope: This section hereby establishes the fees for inspection by all building department administrators, as described in chapter 2, article XI of this code, and the health officer, as described in section 5-113 of this code, and their duly authorized agents.
(b) Fee Schedule: The fees to be charged for inspections by each building department administrator, fire inspector, and health officer or his duly authorized agent for new construction, major renovation, and all other inspections shall be set forth in section 13-1 of this code for each inspection. For the purpose of this section, major renovation shall include at least one of the following, but shall not be limited to, the following: 1) addition of a footed foundation; 2) an increase of thirty three percent (33%) in living space; 3) the removal or installation of an external wall; 4) the removal of any supporting wall, column, poles, truss, girder or beam; and 5) the installation, closing or changing of stairs or existing ingress/egress exit(s).
(c) Reinspection: The fees to be charged for reinspections by each building department administrator, fire inspector, and health officer or their duly authorized agent for new construction, major renovation, and all other inspections shall be set forth in section 13-1 of this code for each reinspection.
