(A) No person shall kindle, build, maintain, or use any fire in any park except in fireplaces provided for the purpose or as cooking fires confined to portable grills, barbeques, cook stoves, and other cooking equipment deemed acceptable by the Park Board, or as the burning of combustible materials under authority of the Park Board as part of normal maintenance, or unless that person has obtained the written consent of the Park Board to otherwise act.
(B) Any fire shall be maintained under the continuous care and direction of a competent person at least 18 years of age, from the time it is kindled until it is effectively extinguished.
(C) No person shall discard any burning match, cigar, or cigarette within any park.
