(A) The Board of Public Works and Safety shall be responsible of controlling and monitoring all signs and sign posts within city streets, city owned properties and alleys; painting under the guidelines of MUTCD.
(B) Restricted time limits or any passengers or for the loading, delivery, or pick-up of freight or materials in any place marked loading zone shall be under the control of the Board of Public Works and Safety who shall erect and maintain signs indicating them.
(C) The Board of Public Works and Safety shall control all no parking zones or areas within the city such may be recommended by the Police Chief. The following zones have been created:
(1) Twelfth Street, its north side running from Main Street to Water Street;
(2) Water Street, its east side running from Tenth Street to Twelfth Street, and from First Street to Fifth Street, west side from First Street to Tenth Street;
(3) Main Street, its west side from Twelfth Street to the end of Main Street;
(4) Sixth Street its Northside from Fairmount Avenue to Third Avenue; and on its south from Fairmount Avenue to Third Avenue;
(5) On a crosswalk area;
(6) 600 Block of River Street on west side of the road;
(7) Along or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when stopping, standing, or parking would obstruct traffic;
(8) With 75 feet in front of any railroad flasher signal erected for the control traffic over railroad tracks;
(9) Parking in properly marked ADA locations; and
(10) Any area that is properly marked with a sign as approved by the Board of Public Works and Safety.
