(a) A list of names of the county roads that are part of the state secondary road system are on file at the county clerk's office.
(b) Pursuant to G.S. 153A-240, a copy of this division and attached road name list shall be forwarded to the department of transportation.
(c) Identifying street markers shall be located at each intersection of roads throughout the county, except those areas lying within the corporate limits of towns and private subdivisions desiring to erect and maintain their own street sign system.
