(A) The Mayor, with the advice and consent of the City Council, shall appoint the members to the Board. The members shall serve a three-year term, or until his or her successor is appointed and has qualified.
(B) Vacancies on the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment.
(C) The Board members shall elect a Chairperson to serve during the municipal fiscal year.
(D) A majority of the Board constitutes a quorum for the conduct of all business.
