5-3-3: ABATEMENT PROCEEDINGS:
   A.   Notice Requirements; Failure To Abate: The owner of a motor vehicle declared by this chapter to be a nuisance, or the owner of the premises or the occupant of the property who allows any storage on his property which is a nuisance under this chapter, upon being notified in writing by any city officer to abate or remove the item within a time to be specified in the written notice, not less than four (4) days nor more than seven (7) days from the date thereof, and who shall neglect or refuse to abate the nuisance, shall be guilty of an offense, and shall be guilty of a separate offense for each day that the nuisance shall be permitted or suffered to remain after the expiration of the time fixed by the written notice for the abatement of the nuisance.    B.   Abatement By City: The city may remove or abate a nuisance under this chapter at the expense of the owner of the unlicensed motor vehicle or the owner or occupant of the property when, upon being notified in writing of the nuisance, the owner or occupant does not abate or remove the nuisance.
