A certain document, one (1) copy of which is, and has been on file in the office of the City Clerk of City of Jerseyville for more than thirty (30) days prior to the adoption of the ordinance codified herein, being marked and designated as the 2018 International Fire Code, including Appendices B Fire-Flow Requirements for Buildings, C - Fire Hydrant Locations and Distribution, D - Fire Apparatus Access Roads, E - Hazard Categories, F - Hazard Ranking, G - Cryogenic Fluids-Weight and Volume Equivalents, I - Fire Protection Systems-Noncompliant Conditions, (see International Fire Code Part Vll - Appendices, 2018 edition) as published by the International Code Council (ICC), be and is hereby adopted as the Fire Code of the City of Jerseyville, in the State of Illinois for regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property in occupancy of buildings and premises as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said Fire Code on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Jerseyville are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this code, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in Section 10-6-1-2 or other sections of this chapter.
