A. Permit Required: Before proceeding with the demolition of any residential dwelling or demolition or removal of a trailer with utilities, a permit shall be obtained from the building official.
B. Time Limit For Completion Of Work: At the time of issuing the demolition permit, a time limit shall be set by the building official for the completion of work.
C. Restoration Of Building Site: After the demolition or removal of the building or trailer, the site shall be left in a clean, presentable and safe condition with the below grade area, if any, properly filled in or protected. No organic matter shall be placed in the fill space. The finished site shall be in an easily maintainable condition.
D. Size Of Vacant Lot: Rebuilding on a vacant lot after demolition must comply with current required building lot sizes as specified in the city zoning ordinance, unless it is an original platted lot. (Ord. 1356, 10-30-2001; amd. 2010 Code)
