8-4-2: LIBRARY BOARD:

The library shall be under the supervision and management of a board of nine (9) directors to be appointed in accordance with the provisions of the statutes of the state relating to public libraries, and said board of directors shall have all the powers and authority covered by such statutes. (1996 Code § 15.5-2)
