A. Service Provided By City: The city is hereby empowered to provide a service to city residents in the form of chipping tree limbs. Requests for such service shall be made to the street department. (1996 Code § 25-9)
B. Fees:
1. Fees Established:
a. The city is authorized to charge a fee of one hundred twenty five dollars ($125.00) for chipping limbs from a tree whose trunk is smaller than one foot (1') in diameter.
b. The city is authorized to charge a fee of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) for chipping limbs from a tree whose trunk is the diameter of one foot (1') or more. (1996 Code § 25-9; amd. 2010 Code)
2. Payment Of Fees: Fees are required to be paid prior to the performance of the service. In cases of a natural disaster due to ice or wind, the city may waive said fees for a period of not more than thirty (30) days. (1996 Code § 25-9)
