5-2-2: DEPOSITS AT COLLECTION SITES:
   A.   City Residents Only: Only residents of the city are entitled to dump or deposit trash in accordance with the rules and regulations promulgated by the city regarding dumping at city collection sites.
   B.   Permit Required: Any city resident who desires to dump or deposit trash at any collection facility of the city must purchase and display a city dumping permit. It shall be unlawful to dump or deposit trash at any collection facility without displaying a permit. (Ord. 1432, 3-30-2004)
   C.   Proof Of Residency And Cost Of Annual Permit: Permits are available for purchase at city hall by residents of the city of Jerseyville only, and proof of residency must be supplied before purchase can be made. Annual permits are valid from May 1 of each year to April 30 of the following year. The cost of said permit will be a yearly fee which will be reduced to half price if purchased on or after November 1. Replacement fee will be charged for lost permits, with proof of the original purchase of a permit. A fee schedule will be established prior to the beginning of each fiscal year by the city council which will be on file in the city clerk's office. (Ord. 1549, 3-23-2010)
