SCHEDULE III:  BRIDGE TRAVEL.
   (A)   No person shall operate any vehicle or combination of vehicles, unladen or with load, over, on or through the roads and bridges listed below if the height of said vehicle or load exceeds a height of eight feet and six inches above a level surface upon which the vehicle stands.
      (1)   Low vertical clearance warning signs shall be posted at the bridges. The owner and/or operator of the vehicles shall be responsible for determining that sufficient vertical clearance is provided above their vehicle prior to attempting to travel the said roads and bridges.
      (2)   The county assumes no liability for any damages or injury to persons who violate this height restriction. Any person who owns and/or operates any vehicle or moves any object over said bridges is liable for all damages that the public road and bridge may sustain as a result of any illegal operation of the vehicle or the moving of any vehicle or object in excess of the posted vertical height restriction.

   (B)   Only one vehicle shall be permitted to cross James Covered Bridge No. 85 or Scipio Covered Bridge No. 25 at one time in either direction.
