10-5-1: RULES OF INTERPRETATION:
   A.   The uses permitted in the various districts are shown in the table in section 10-5-2 of this chapter. The uses permitted in a more restricted district may be permitted in a less restricted district; provided, however, that the yard space and other requirements of the more restricted district shall apply. For purposes of applying this rule, each district shown in said table in section 10-5-2 of this chapter shall be considered to be more restricted than the one(s) listed to the right.
   B.   It is intended that these regulations be interpreted as permitting a dwelling unit to be located on the same lot with or within a structure used or intended to be used primarily for nonresidential purposes only upon individual review and approval by the Jay planning and zoning commission.
