A. Conveyance: All cemetery lots shall be sold at such prices as the mayor and city council may from time to time adopt and establish. All lots sold therein shall be conveyed by certificate to be issued by the sexton and signed by the mayor, and countersigned by the city clerk, under the seal of this city, which certificate shall show the lot or lots described by numbers as shown upon the plat of the cemetery, the price paid and by whom paid, and date of issuance. (See appendix A of this code.)
B. Records Maintained: It is the duty of the sexton to keep a record, in a well bound book to be kept for that purpose, of all sales of lots in the cemetery, which record shall show the number and location of the lot or lots sold, the date of sale, to whom sold, and the amount paid for each lot or lots, and the name of the person whose body is interred in the cemetery.
