A. Established: There is hereby established a cemetery care fund for the maintenance and improvement of the cemetery owned and operated by the city in accordance with state law.
B. Appropriations: At least twenty five percent (25%) of the income to the city accruing from the sale of cemetery lots and other revenues from the operation of the municipal cemetery, is hereby appropriated and directed/segregated by the officers of the city to the credit of the cemetery care fund. Such segregation shall be accounted for monthly and shall be kept in a separate account or fund by the city treasurer. (Ord. 377, 11-6-2023)
